Villa Zircon is a 7-bedroom villa with 5 Master bedrooms, 2 attached suites with private verandas (all with en suite bathrooms), and a private pool, set in picturesque Agia Sofia of Mykonos. Vernacular and postmodern architecture come together to create a simple yet effective interior, complete with open spaces, an indoor dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen containing cutting-edge appliances. Supported by clear-cut columns reminiscent of ancient Minoan Palaces, Villa Zircon prefers leveled structural design to complex extravagance, offering a breathtaking view to the island’s port and the bustling Mykonos Town, which glows ethereally at nighttime. Of course, the private pool is surrounded by built-in sofas and portable sunbeds, perfect for chasing the shade when sunbathing. Creamy white and bright platinum corridors weave a traditional Cycladic mosaic, peppered with prickly pears, decorative stones, and oval vases. At the same time, symmetrical pieces of furniture and access to modern appliances, such as A/C and a flat plasma TV elevate the resort to contemporary standards of comfort. As a centerpiece, a beautifully fashioned fireplace connects the two worlds with its master-crafted masonry work.
